As we gear up to shoot a family wedding this February (yee-haw… Texas, here we come! 🤠), I couldn’t help but rewind to last September—when we had the absolute honor of photographing Brooke and Aaron’s wedding on a beautiful early fall day.


We’ve known Brooke and her family since she was in elementary school, and it has been such a joy watching her grow into the incredible young woman she is today. Their wedding day began at a stunning new and upcoming venue in Hayden, Idaho, and it truly set the tone for a perfect celebration.

Brooke and Aaron even had their furry friends along for the day, which I loved—including pets in wedding photos always melts my heart (even though I totally understand why it doesn’t always work out!). Every detail of their day was thoughtful, meaningful, and beautiful… and let’s talk about that cheesecake for a second—to DIE for. Those huckleberries know exactly how to work their way straight into my soul. 😍

We brought our 5-year-old along to rehearsal, and he gave us all a good laugh when he asked, “Why are there hot dogs on the branches?” Safe to say—his first encounter with cattails! 🤣
