Earlier this month, I had the joy of capturing Kelly and Jon’s wedding in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, ID. Yes, it was August… yes, it was hot… but those blue skies made it worth every second. ☀️
This intimate, family-only ceremony was full of love (and a lot of grandkids)! The best part? All the grandkids got to walk down the aisle and stand up front, proudly representing the wedding party.
A highlight for me? Getting my feet wet in the lake while capturing some fun shots… though I quickly learned sand in August doubles as lava. Totally worth it for those photos, though!
Kelly and Jon wrapped it up in style—with the grandkids leading a full-on lake plunge, and of course, the bride and groom joined right in! 💦 Now that’s how you make a splash at your wedding.
A huge thank-you to Kelly and Jon for letting us share in such a special day. And a shout-out to my fun team for the afternoon: Latanya, who rocked the “short and sweet” video captures 🎥 (While I’m not a videographer, I enjoy incorporating those authentic little video moments captured on my phone.) and to my daughter-in-law, Cara, who wrangled my little one at home (arguably the most challenging job of all!).
