Last fall, Dale and I had the honor of capturing Jeff and Sascha’s beautiful wedding.
Having known Sascha’s family for many years, it has been a true pleasure to watch Jeff and Sascha’s three daughters grow up so quickly.
Last year, Sascha and her mom—our dear friend Lisa—reached out to ask if we would be part of their wedding day, not only to capture the memories but also to share in Dale’s awesome BBQ. Of course, we wouldn’t have missed it for the world!
This also brought us back to Evermore Event Center in Washington—my second time shooting a wedding there—and it was just as incredible as the first. We absolutely love Evermore, and the owners are always such a pleasure to work with.
We started preparing way back during Super Bowl 2025 so they could sample all the delicious food, and I’d say it was definitely a touchdown!
Jeff, Sascha, their three girls, and so many friends had an amazing day enjoying great food and even better company.
A huge thank you to our son and daughter-in-law, Austin and Sydney, along with our friend Chad, for stepping in to help with all the food. And of course, thank you to our other kiddos, Connor and Cara, for helping with Daniel so we could make everything run smoothly. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful.
Jeff and Sascha, I wish your family nothing but the very best, and I look forward to documenting many more memories with you in the years to come. Enjoy the blog while I finish up your fabulous wedding album! 💛
If you haven’t had the chance to try our food yet, reach out! We’ll be offering sample boxes for two coming soon. Feel free to check out our Freedom Works blog page or follow us on Facebook to stay in the loop!

I don’t think Jeff and Sascha will mind me sneaking in a little food love here — this was our first big crowd (Over 100) to feed, and I’d say we definitely hit a home run! I may be biased, but Dale seriously knocked it out of the park. ⚾🔥
I don’t usually call out the food staff, but when it’s family… rules change! 💛
Meet Dale (my hubby), Austin (my son), and my daughter-in-law Sydney—who also rocked it as my second shooter. Love her! Huge thanks to our friend Chad—we absolutely could not have pulled this off without all of you!
And yes… you’re probably wondering what was on the menu! 😋
We pulled together:
• 8 pans of loaded baked potato salad
• 8 pans of creamy smoked mac & cheese
• 4 pans of bright citrus slaw
• Chopped brisket
• Smoked pit beans
• Crispy pork belly — cooked on site!
Needless to say… nobody left hungry!

Sascha and Jeff, thank you for trusting us with your wedding meal — we may be biased, but we think BBQ was the perfect choice!
Now, let’s get back to the wedding—hopefully we made you drool just a little! 😄
A fun trend I’m starting to see is couples making their grand entrance straight into their first dance… and honestly, we love it. So let’s hit pause on the food and the toasts for just a moment and celebrate this amazing couple as they share their first dance together.
“We started the night with the ‘Shoes’ game—who knows who best? The winner is a blur, but the laughs weren’t! And while I was busy helping get the food out, my daughter-in-law stepped up like a total rock star and captured every great moment.”
As I sit here, looking out at all this snow on this cold January day, I’m reminded of how grateful I am for the trust of our clients and friends. It truly means the world to Dale and me, and we are so thankful for each and every one of you.
Wishing the Brown family all the very best! 💛
