Of course, my little one hasn’t quite gone back to school just yet… but I clearly couldn’t wait any longer. Between holiday leftovers, messy counters, and a camera roll full of memories, it felt like the perfect time to start sharing a few of the amazing weddings from 2025.
A little backstory—because this one truly goes way back. I met the Peplinski family several years ago, and since then we’ve done all the things: family photos, senior photos, engagement photos, her sister Katie’s wedding, and of course Kari and MJ’s winter engagement session up on the mountain almost exactly one year ago. (Seriously though—how has an entire year flown by that fast?!)
Fast forward to fall, and Kari and MJ tied the knot in what can only be described as absolute perfection. A crisp autumn day, so much love, nonstop laughter—and a ceremony set against one of the most beautiful waterfall backdrops I’ve photographed. I mean… saying “I do” with a waterfall roaring behind you? That’s a hard one to beat.
Kari and MJ, the two of you are just so dang fantastic. Your humor, your connection, and the way you genuinely enjoy each other brought smiles to everyone around you (including me behind the camera). It was an honor to be part of your day, and I truly hope I get to keep photographing your family milestones for years to come.
