I witnessed the unforgettable day my niece was born, and I was there when she said yes to forever.

Twenty-three years ago, on a cold January day, I witnessed the birth of my niece, a cherished symbol of hope and love for the family. Over the years, I shared in her high school and college achievements. Being present on the day of Wyatt's proposal marked a truly memorable day. This heartfelt moment symbolized fresh starts and the powerful connection of love that unites us all.

It was so special to have an impromptu engagement session by the fireside at our home here in North Idaho.

Thank you, Lexi & Wyatt, for allowing me, Aunt Kim, to play a small yet meaningful part in a day that will always hold a special place in your ( & my) hearts.

Did I mention they crossed paths in 2020? Their story warms the heart.


Lexi's heart yearned for a fluffy companion, leading her to Wyatt's roommate, who had a furry surprise waiting. Tundra, a puppy from a recent litter, instantly stole Lexi’s heart! And Wyatt? Well, he was just around the corner!

Zoom ahead four years, and now they proudly juggle two chirpy birds – Yeager and Meep. Tundra is still the show’s star, but they have a coop (awesome job on the coop Wyatt!) full of clucking chickens! Psst...word on the street is a Doberman might be the next member of their wild and fantastic crew!

We love you, Lexi, and we are proud of the wonderful woman you have grown into! We are thrilled to commemorate your union with Wyatt, and I am eagerly anticipating capturing your 2025 wedding! Thank you for sharing this picture with me!
