A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing the Murphy Family!
We chose Tubbs Hill in Coeur d’Alene, a spot that holds special memories for them. Usually, that little coveted area is crowded, but we lucked out and were able to sneak right in with the gorgeous scenery as our backdrop.
It was a warm, sunny day filled with laughter. Most of the families I work with are local, but every now and then I get the joy of photographing a group that comes together from all over the map—this time we had Idaho, Montana (Go Grizz!—my husband would be proud!), and Colorado represented.
The Murphy's did such a wonderful job, even jumping in for the trendy “clippity-clap” walk, arm-in-arm, which brought out such genuine smiles. A special thank-you to my friend Latanya for grabbing some fun little video clips (after already helping me for hours in the heat the day before!) and to my daughter-in-law, Cara, for helping with little D.
